We’re headed to a wedding in Chicago next weekend and so, naturally, I am on the hunt for a dress. I came across a black Stella McCartney one in my last issue of Vogue and fell in love. It’s on the top left in photo below. I loved the contrast lining and the length was so perfect. But unfortunately, Saks didn’t have my size (read: I don’t have $1,600 to spend on a frock). Then I got to looking and found a similar Milly one for a fraction of the price. And, sorry Stella, but I like it better. So below you have my “for richer or for poorer” wedding wear. Or I could really save money and wear a black dress I already own… but then what would I write about?
Top
// Stella McCartney Dress // Alexander McQueen Satin Rose Knuckle Box Clutch // Manolo Blahnik Chaos Ankle Strap Sandal //
Bottom
// Milly Reversible Double Face Dress // Leather Clutch // Sam Edelman Ankle Strap Heels //
I love your posts! And I agree the red in that dress makes it really pop, love that one!

You are so sweet. Thanks for the compliment and reading my crazy blog 🙂 I was telling Joe how nice it was to talk to you girls at length last week at Paisley. So fun getting to know you as we embark on the blogging world together!
