I went to a cocktail party last weekend wearing this outfit. The hostess answered the door and immediately said, “Well, now that is an interesting outfit.” NOT a compliment. And really, who says that? Anyway, here’s how this combo came to be: I found these floral pants at Zara last year and knew I wanted a striped top to pair with them. It took a while, but I finally found this Milly tee that was just the right blue and just the right cut.
