Breakfast @STLouisPO

… Who needs Tiffany’s when you can have breakfast and a shopping spree at The St. Louis Premium Outlets?! (@STLouisPO on Instagram) I can attest because that’s exactly where I spent last Saturday morning. Shopping till I dropped with blogger pals at this Simon Outlet Mall, located in Chesterfield, MO. They hosted a Joy of Gifting Event, in which they gave us bloggers a gift card to their shopping center, encouraging us to embrace the season and the joy of gifting. Which I interpreted as “one for me, one for _____ !”

After breakfast and mingling, I headed out with Psyche of the blog, Economy of Style. She recommended we check out Kate Spade before the lines got long and so I followed her lead. Kate Spade is always so cheerful and fun to browse and everything in the store was 60% off. Definitely worth a look! While I browsed I also took some handbags out for a spin:

Then I headed to Saks Off Fifth where I came really close to spending my entire wad on this Etro coat. It was my size, but still $500 even though 80% off! Pass. I tried on a Joie sweater, Chanel tank, and Milly dress all to no avail. But I did snag some fun hostess gifts and items for a family grab bag  – I always think of Off Fifth just for clothes, but they do have a great selection of stationary, candy, sunglasses, lotions and candles… Just saying.

Finally, in J. Crew, I hit an outlet style home run. This pink coat.  I had a similar one home from J. Crew last year and ended up returning it, but this one was even better. I love the coral color and boxy fit (oversized everything is in style this season it seems) and well, I also loved the price tag (are you sitting down?!) $60! Can’t beat it… I mean,  I’ve had Starbucks runs that cost more.

Still in J. Crew, I bought this great basic shirt with a little ruffle detail:

… and these adorable tops for my girls (that were less than $20 each!):

Everyone loves a good bargain and I am certainly no exception. But the St. Louis Premium Outlets made it so easy. No confusing coupons, tons of stores and lots of sizes in stock. I checked some major boxes off my Christmas list, and found some things to wrap up for myself. The joy of gifting, indeed.
